ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A juvenile was killed and three other people were seriously injured in a crash in Ross County on Monday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers were called on a report of a crash on Black Run Road, located about one mile west of state Route 772, around 7:30 a.m.
OSHP said a Toyota Corolla was traveling southeast on Black Run Road when it went off the right side of the road, into roadside vegetation and hit a utility pole guywire, a tree, a concrete retaining wall and another tree.
The driver and four juveniles were transported to Adena Regional Medical Center for treatment.
One of the juveniles was later pronounced dead. The driver and two of the juveniles sustained serious injuries, OSHP said.
The crash remains under investigation.
