A Geneva man has been charged with 16 child pornography-related felony counts following an investigation, Kane County State’s Attorney Jamie Mosser and Kane County Sheriff Ron Hain said in a news release on Monday.

Mosser is alleging that between Oct. 5 and Nov. 4, Kenneth A. Christensen, 34, of Geneva, possessed and distributed videos containing child sexual abuse material, per the news release.

An investigation was conducted by the Kane County Child Exploitation Unit , Batavia Police Department and Geneva Police Department, the release said.

Christensen has been charged with six felony counts of disseminating child pornography and 10 felony counts of possessing child pornography, according to the news release.
