Veteran actor Prem Chopra, 90, has been hospitalised at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital. The actor’s son-in-law, Vikas Bhalla, told India Today that he was hospitalised as a precautionary measure due to his age. Vikas has assured the actor’s fans that he will be discharged in a few days. “It’s all age-related, and a regular procedure. There is nothing to worry about," Vikas said.

As per an IANS report, Prem Chopra has been admitted due to his heart condition and a viral infection. As per the report, doctor Jalil Parker said in a statement, “Prem Chopra ji was admitted to Lilavati Hospital two days ago under his family cardiologist, Dr Nitin Gokhale. He has a heart issue also, and he also developed a viral infection, lung infection, for which I am also the treating physician in the same team."
