Veteran actor Dharmendra passed away at the age of 89 at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on Tuesday (November 11), his team confirmed. He had been hospitalised after experiencing respiratory problems.

Fondly known as Bollywood’s “He-Man,” Dharmendra leaves behind a rich cinematic legacy spanning more than six decades. His final appearance on screen will be in Ikkis , scheduled for release on December 25.

Dharmendra is survived by his wife and veteran actor Hema Malini, sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, and daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
