Detectives have charged the alleged gunman in the murder of Sydney plumber John Versace in May in what police believe was a case of mistaken identity.
At around 9am today, detectives charged a 21-year-old man with murder in Silverwater.
He was refused bail to appear in Burwood Local Court Today.
Police will allege the man was the gunman in the shooting murder of Versace, 23.
Versace died after suffering multiple gunshot wounds outside his family home in Condell Park.
Police believe it was a case of mistaken identity, with Versace having no criminal links.
Last week, two men were charged over their alleged involvement in the murder and remain before the courts.
