Two men are accused of chasing another driver at high speeds and attempting to block the vehicle in on Lincoln Way East, Chambersburg police announced on Monday, Nov. 10.
Garrett Riley Lake, 21, and Brady Michael Appleby, 18, were arrested after officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Lincoln Way East around 9:58 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5, for reports of an erratic driver, according to a release from the Chambersburg Police Department.
Investigators determined Lake and Appleby were pursuing a victim’s vehicle at excessive speeds, driving into oncoming traffic lanes, and trying to box the vehicle in — causing alarm to other drivers in the area, police said.
Both men are charged with Misdemeanor Stalking, Misdemeanor Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Misdemeanor False Imprisonment, Misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct, Summary Obstructing Highways and Other Public Passages, and Summary Reckless Driving, according to the release.
