The community is still reeling after a deadly shooting at Fox Hollow Golf Course in Anchorage.
"It's unbelievable. It's a wonderful place to come to. A lot of nice people I've never even seen people arguing," said Alton Spurgeon, reflecting the feelings of many residents.
One local said people are feeling tense and on edge these days.
"You know? But this day and age, people are pretty stressed, you know? And, and act on their emotions. I guess," Spurgeon added.
According to court documents, the argument that led to the shooting began after a child was nearly struck in the parking lot.
Anchorage police received several 911 calls about the shooting. An off-duty officer at the scene reported hearing gunfire near a 2025 black Silverado. The officer saw the shooter holding a gun and found
