The Green Bay Packers entered the week as the leader in the NFC North and the fourth place team in the NFC. With their loss to the first place Philadelphia Eagles, the Packers have dropped the lead in the NFC North and now barely cling to a playoff spot.
The new leader in the NFC North are the Detroit Lions, who won Sunday to moved to 6-3 on the season. The Chicago Bears are also 6-3 but lost to the Lions earlier in the season.
Elsewhere in the NFC, the Seattle Seahawks won to stay tied for first place in the NFC but the they remain tied atop their own division, as well, and play the Los Angeles Rams in Week 11. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost but stayed third in the standings thanks to a tiebreaker.
In the wild card race, the tiebreakered Rams are the first team up at fifth overall. The
