The 2025 growing season was a mixed bag for area farmers as weather provided unique challenges, said Ashtabula County Ohio State Extension Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator Amanda Barnum.

“We had a really wet spring and a really dry summer,” Barnum said. She said it affected different farmers in very different ways.
