Hazleton resident honored at awards ceremony, graduates

Several students were recognized at the annual Awards Ceremony during Commencement Week at Bob Jones University.

Eylan Martinez Diaz, Hazleton, won the Journalism & Mass Communication Award.

Given in memory of Robert Pratt and in honor of Laura Pratt, longtime faculty members in the Division of Communication, this award is presented on the basis of Christian testimony, talent and achievement in media.

Diaz also graduated from the university on Friday, May 9, summa cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science in multimedia journalism.
