On Sunday I made a triumphant return to the high country. My flight into Denver came in a half hour early and the vibe in the airport was chill.
After years of dodging construction projects at DIA, I noticed that they have finally pulled back the curtains on some of the new designs. I’m not sure what I was seeing but I was not seeing a bathroom anywhere in the new zone. The good news is that people were no longer being funneled into tight passages and now it feels like kind of a free range experience.
In the good old days, I had the good fortune of flying in and out of Aspen. At DIA, the gate for Aspen flights was very different from every other gate in the airport. The people were groomed, fashionable and smelled great. Passengers bound for Aspen were up a notch in every possible way. B
