Ammonium Nitrate Fuel Oil (ANFO) was likely used to carry out the high-intensity blast near the iconic Red Fort in Delhi that left nine dead and over 20 injured, sources said. Traces of ammonium nitrate have been found near the blast site, according to preliminary investigation, but the exact nature of the explosive will be confirmed only after the forensic report.
