New Delhi: Dr Umar U.Nabi, the key suspect in the explosion near the Red Fort Metro station, had completed MBBS from Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar in 2017, ThePrint has learnt.

The 36-year-old is believed to have been killed in the high-intensity blast that rocked the Red Fort area on Monday night.

He had worked in GMC, Anantnag as well and last worked at Faridabad’s Al-Falah School of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, the sources said. Dr Muzammil Shakeel, another terror suspect, worked in the same Faridabad hospital.

A native of Pulwama, Nabi was allegedly part of the Faridabad-Jammu and Kashmir module of the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM)
