Today is the day the nation sets aside to honor our veterans of the armed forces. It's always a particularly important day in West Virginia, where the rate of service is so high.
Veterans Day is not about war, per se, although it can sometimes be difficult to separate the two.
As is tradition, we offer up some reflections on this Veterans Day.
