Prince Edward County has approved an interim tax plan for effect during upcoming 2026 budget deliberations.
The levy will apply to all properties across all tax classes and is expected to raise approximately $20.9 million for the municipality.
The interim levy ensures the municipality can maintain financial stability early in the year, regardless of budget decisions.
The motion was approved without debate during Monday’s council meeting.
