Ons Jabeur, Tunisia’s former world number two, announced on Monday that she is expecting her first child and will take an extended break from professional tennis.
“I took a little break to reset and recharge … Turns out, we’ve been planning the cutest comeback ever," posted Jabeur, the three-times Grand Slam runner-up known as the “Minister of Happiness", on Instagram.
“The court will have to wait a little longer, because soon… we’ll be welcoming our tiniest teammate. Baby boy joining the team in April," she added.

The 31-year-old, currently ranked 79th, revealed she will temporarily step away from her career to focus on her new family life, with a baby boy expected in April.
