The Rotch-Jones-Duff House & Garden Museum will open a new exhibition on Thursday, November 20: “America’s 250th: Unraveling the Revolutionary Journey of William Rotch Sr.” In commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the exhibition will feature art from a new historical graphic novel, “Quaker, Whaler, Traitor, Spy! The Trials of William Rotch,” written by Sarah Crabtree and illustrated by Melissa Philley.
The public is invited to an opening reception at the museum on Thursday from 5 to 7 PM. Philley will speak about her work at 5:30 PM. The event is free and open to the public.
