Abu Dhabi, Nov 11: Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh on Tuesday accused the United States of sending “contradictory messages” to Tehran over the stalled nuclear negotiations through intermediary nations.
Speaking at the 12th Abu Dhabi Strategic Debate, Khatibzadeh said Iran remains committed to pursuing “a peaceful nuclear agreement” but will not compromise on its national security interests.
Reiterating Tehran’s long-standing stance, he said Iran “does not seek nuclear weapons” and continues to support dialogue that ensures mutual respect and stability in the region.
