Voting is currently underway for byelections to eight assembly seats across seven states, conducted under stringent security arrangements to ensure a smooth electoral process. The bypolls are taking place in Jammu and Kashmir (Budgam and Nagrota), Rajasthan (Anta), Jharkhand (Ghatshila), Telangana (Jubilee Hills), Punjab (Tarn Taran), Mizoram (Dampa), and Odisha (Nuapada).

According to the Chief Election Commission of India, voter turnout as of 11:00 AM showed promising participation across several constituencies.
