MORGANTOWN -- After not recording a sack in their first four Big 12 Conference games, the Mountaineers recorded a season-high seven sacks against Colorado on Saturday.

West Virginia recorded 13 sacks in its first three games and have since totaled 11 since the UCF game on Oct. 18.

WVU's seven sacks against the Buffaloes weren't only a new season high, the previous being six versus Pitt on Sept. 13, but it was the first time since 2023 the Mountaineers posted at least seven sacks in a game.

The Mountaineers also tallied 15 tackles for loss in the 29-22 victory over the Buffaloes, the fifth time in program history a WVU team has posted at least 15 TFLs in a single game.
