Actress-turned-politician Hema Malini has dismissed her husband, veteran actor Dharmendra’s death rumours. On Tuesday morning, Hema Malini took to her X (formerly Twitter) handle and clarified that the actor is “recovering". She called out “irresponsible" reports surrounding Dharmendra’s death and called it “disrespectful".

“What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy," Hema Malini wrote.
