NEW DELHI: A day after a powerful explosion near the Red Fort killed at least eight people and injured more than 20 others, Delhi remains on high alert on Tuesday, with key areas including the Lal Quila Metro Station and the historic Red Fort itself closed to the public. The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) confirmed that the Red Fort will remain shut for visitors till November 13 to facilitate police investigation. “The investigation of the scene of crime is in progress but yet to be completed,” ASI officials said, adding that the closure is a temporary security measure.
