SRINAGAR : Police in the Pampore area arrested three individuals during a naka checking operation at Laterbal, near the gas plant, recovering narcotic substances from their possession. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

The arrested persons have been identified as Ashfaq Ahmad Khanday, son of Ghulam Qadir, resident of Wuyan; Muhammad Maqbool Rather, son of Abdul Ahad, resident of Pustona Tral; and Abid Hussain Khan, son of Nazir Ahmad Khan, resident of Larow Tral.

During their personal search, police recovered 725 grams of bhang chura and 25 grams of a charas-like substance from their possession. Following the recovery, a case FIR No. 119/2025 under Sections 8/20/29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Police Station
