Kulgam, Nov 11: As part of an ongoing anti-terror and anti-narcotics campaign in Kulgam, police apprehended a Nepalese national found carrying charas, officials said on Tuesday.
SSP Kulgam, Anayat Ali Choudhary said, “For the past few days, we’ve been conducting a large-scale crackdown against terrorism. Today, as part of that effort, we launched a special vehicle-checking drive, not only on highways, which we do regularly, but also across more than 75 locations in Kulgam’s interiors.”
He added, “During the operation we apprehended a Nepalese national carrying charas in his luggage. He thought he could slip through due to odd timings, but our police teams were alert and successfully nabbed him.”
