Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday expressed gratitude to the people of Bhutan for their moving gesture of solidarity with India following the deadly blast in Delhi. During a programme marking the 70th birthday of Bhutan’s Fourth King, the people of Bhutan offered a special prayer for the victims and their families.
Acknowledging the gesture, PM Modi said it reflected the deep compassion and unity between the two nations. “At the programme to mark the 70th birthday of His Majesty the Fourth King, the people of Bhutan expressed solidarity with the people of India in the wake of the blast in Delhi through a unique prayer. I will never forget this gesture,” he said in a post on X.
