A moving bus caught fire on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada Highway

A private bus traveling from Hyderabad to Kandukur caught fire early Monday morning on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway in Telangana.

The incident occurred around 1:30 AM near Pittampally in Chityal Mandal, Nalgonda.

Smoke was first noticed coming from the bus, which quickly engulfed the vehicle in flames.

Thanks to the quick action of the driver and conductor, all 29 passengers were safely evacuated before the fire spread.

A fire department team arrived at the scene and extinguished the blaze. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

Police have registered a case, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation. The bus was completely gutted .
