A struggling offense and an injured roster aren’t the best combination. Unfortunately, that is exactly what the Green Bay Packers are currently suffering from. Both center Elgton Jenkins and wide receiver Romeo Doubs left the game against the Philadelphia Eagles . And head coach Matt LaFleur doesn’t seem to have the best updates.
As Rob Demovsky reported, the coach has shared that Elgton Jenkins’ ankle injury “doesn’t sound promising.”
After getting sacked by the Eagles’ defensive end Nolan Smith Jr., Jenkins got his left ankle awkwardly rolled under quarterback Jordan Love. Later, he was carted off the field.
After being listed as questionable, the Packers ruled him out for the rest of the game. If anything, coach LaFleur’s update has added to the concern around the player’s injury
