British family's Spanish holiday 'ruined' as 'locals served first' View 3 Images

A family say their holiday to Spain was "ruined" by rude staff who served local Spanish guests first at the hotel bar while Brits had to queue. Frankee and Jonny James - both 33 - say it was just one of numerous problems they faced during their £1,800 holiday with son Rowan, eight.

They say it was a "holiday from hell" because of bad smells, poor hygiene standards and "mistreatment" of English guests at the Hotel Sorra Daurada Splash in Malgrat de Mar. They claim they were ignored for 10 to 15 minutes by hotel staff who went "over and above for the Spanish guests".
