2025 has already been a great year for director Dan Trachtenberg, and it could have been even more impressive if an opportunity related to Stranger Things had worked out. Trachtenberg just released his fourth feature film, Predator: Badlands , serving as his third Predator movie following Prey and Predator: Killer of Killers .

The latter actually released on Hulu in July, giving Trachtenberg two major Predator movie releases for 2025. While the animated Predator: Killer of Killers was well-received, attaining 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, it was a streaming exclusive.
