India’s 1989 tour of Pakistan is remembered for the debut of one of greatest ever cricketer – Sachin Tendulkar. But the Test and ODI tour was also marred by controversies.

While the 4-Test series ended in 0-0 draw, Pakistan managed to win the three-match ODI series 2-0 but one of those matches had to be abandoned after just 87 balls due to crowd trouble. The 3rd ODI at the National Stadium in Karachi on December 20, 1989.
