Synopsis: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday chaired a high-level security review meeting, a day after a car explosion near the Red Fort killed eight people and injured several others. The meeting reportedly discussed possible links between the blast and the seizure of a cache of explosives from a residence in Faridabad earlier the same day. Even as multiple central agencies and the Delhi Police investigate the cause of the explosion, several cases under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and the Explosives Act have been registered.
