I’m the mother of a teenager, and like so many Michigan families, my husband and I have watched social media consume more and more of our kids’ lives. This isn’t just distraction, it’s real harm. Kids are targeted, exploited, and pushed toward self-harm by the very apps they use daily. Big Tech knows it but keeps profiting off our children. Three-quarters of Michiganders agree: the government must act to protect kids online.
