CHICO — Sun enjoyers may need to wait a while for its next appearance.
Dry and clear weather since last weekend is expected to end with a storm forecast late Wednesday through Friday, bringing about one to two inches of rain, more than one foot of snow and up to 40 mph wind gusts to Northern California.
After this week, long term forecasts through November are also showing above normal chances of precipitation, according to Kate Forrest, meteorologist at National Weather Service Sacramento.
“I’m personally taking advantage of the nice, warm and sunny weather … because it’s going to start feeling like fall later this week,” Forrest said.
This week’s storm is forecast to bring 1.5 to 2 inches of rain in Chico, 1.25 to 1.5 inches in Red Bluff, 1.75 to 2.25 inches in Oroville and about 3 i
