SPEED, 1M1B join hands to launch Youth Climate Innovation Centre in Hyderabad

Telangana’s SPEED initiative and non-profit 1M1B have signed an MoU to set up a Youth Climate Action & Innovation Centre in Hyderabad. The project aims to train one lakh youth in green skills and drive the State’s youth-led net zero mission

Hyderabad: SPEED (Smart, Proactive, Efficient and Effective Delivery), an initiative of the State government, and 1M1B (One Million for One Billion), a non-profit foundation, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish Youth Climate Action & Innovation Centre in Hyderabad.

The announcement was made at the recently held 9th 1M1B Activate Impact Summit held at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland . The Centre aims to make Telangana India’s first youth-led net zero State where young citizens actively contribute to climate action,
