SPRINGFIELD — Carl Junction forward Jaiden Walker couldn’t have picked a better time to score his first goal of the season as he punched one through from about 18 yards out to give his Bulldogs a 1-0 overtime win against the Webb City Cardinals in their Class 3 District 6 championship match Monday night at Parkview’s JFK Stadium.

Walker’s goal, which came about six minutes into the 15-minute overtime, gave the Bulldogs their first district championship in almost a decade. ×
