Following the car explosion near the Red Fort on Sunday evening which killed at least eight people and injuring several others, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Delhi President Saurabh Bharadwaj on Tuesday visited the injured victims at Lok Nayak Jay Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital and criticised the government for failing to provide adequate support to the families of the deceased.

Speaking to reporters after his visit, Bharadwaj said, “Sympathy has no value if the government cannot even provide an ambulance for the families to retrieve the bodies. The Home Minister came to Delhi’s largest hospital, and the Chief Minister came and said that everything is going fine, but the families of the deceased are being told that the bodies are lying there, and they should arrange for an ambulance themselves.
