As the record-breaking government shutdown nears a possible conclusion, Oklahomans who rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) to purchase food may soon receive aid from the government .

On Monday, Nov. 10, the Oklahoma Department of Human Services confirmed that Oklahoma's 684,000 SNAP recipients will receive partial funding for November in their accounts in the next 24 hours.

Benefits will be issued automatically, and recipients should see updates to their EBT balances on the ConnectEBT app and website.
