The Provincetown Theater has announced the cast and creative team for its final production of the 2025 season, “A Christmas Carol,” which will open on Thursday, November 20, at the company’s playhouse, 238 Bradford Street.

Artistic director David Drake is staging the adaptation of playwright Doris Baizley.

Set during the Great Depression, the show opens with a ragtag traveling theater troupe arriving in town to perform the Dickens classic, only to discover that their Scrooge has jumped ship and Tiny Tim’s been fired for eating the props. But the show must go on—so the troupe bands together, recasts the roles and delivers Dickens’s yuletide tale of ghosts, regrets, redemption and generosity for its eager audience.
