Auditions have been announced announced for "The Curse of the Candy Cottage," a new family play by Lisa Jo Rudy produced through the Woods Hole Theater Company. This modern mashup of two classic fairy tales, "Hansel and Gretel" and "Sleeping Beauty," is a play about finding one’s own strengths despite all odds.

At just over an hour long, "Candy Cottage" is a good starting place for young actors and for adults new to or returning to the stage. It is also an opportunity for parents, grandparents, teenagers and children to work together on a community production.

Auditions will be held on Saturday, November 22, from 1 to 3 PM and on Sunday, November 23, from 3 to 5 PM in the Community Hall in Woods Hole. Performances will be on the weekends of February 20 through 22 and February 27 throug
