CHARLESTON, Mo. (KFVS) - Banners honoring area veterans will be unveiled at a Veterans Day event in Charleston.
Doors open at 10:45 a.m. at 303 S. Sixth Street.
Organizers say the program starts at 11 a.m. with call to color, unfurling of the completed banners and a drawing of names for the next banners.
They’ll begin serving food at 12 p.m.
All veterans and their families are invited to attend, as well as any interested community members.
The banners, honoring Charlestonians who were injured or killed in service, will be placed along Main Street.
