One of the most special parts of following Jesus is being in His Word with Him. One of my favorite Pastors advises often to “read the Bible until it starts to talk back”. This has been happening to me in the book of Judges lately. I remember years ago reading the Bible for the first time. I attempted to read it in “canonical order” meaning from cover to cover. Not that there is anything wrong with this but being a brand-new believer and attempting to make sense of Leviticus wasn’t easy for me. By the time I even got to Judges, I was honestly a little freaked out.

I kept showing up though and years later, Leviticus is one of my favorite books! It’s worth noting here for anyone struggling to get into the word that God’s heart is that the Word would get into you and not the other way around.
