ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA)— Two 4-year-olds are in critical condition after being shot inside their home in Orange County.
Deputies responded to a call on Nov. 8 around 2 p.m. at AdventHealth East Orlando, where staff told them two 4-year-old twins suffered gunshot wounds.
The Orange County Sheriff's Office interviewed the parents, Keishara Goodrum and Maurice Bright Jr., who told deputies they did not witness the incident, but they both heard a loud "pop" inside the home.
After hearing the loud "pop," Keishara, the mother, was in the kitchen and saw a wound when one of the twins lifted their arms.
According to deputies, Maurice, who was in the backyard, rushed and grabbed one of the twins as he also saw a wound on his body.
