The Statewide Charter School Board has placed a fledgling Oklahoma City charter school on probation and put it on an accelerated timetable to make improvements.
The board voted during its meeting on Monday, Nov. 10, to bypass the issuance of a warning to Proud to Partner Leadership Academy , which serves parts of southwest Oklahoma City, and progress straight to probation, citing deficiencies with the school’s academics, finances and organization. The board gave the school until Nov. 26 to provide a plan to address the deficiencies.
