Melissa Wheeler has been named the new Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Deep East Texas . Wheeler brings more than 25 years of nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and community development experience to the role, where she will lead the affiliate in its mission to build homes, communities, and hope across Angelina and Nacogdoches Counties.

Wheeler most recently served as Development Director for the Family Crisis Center of East Texas , where she directed fundraising, marketing, and donor engagement for a regional nonprofit.
