It was a week ago today that the Dallas Cowboys changed the structure of their roster. Yes, only a week.

Last Tuesday the Cowboys traded for both Logan Wilson and Quinnen Williams and just about all discussion in the aftermath has centered on the latter, with all due respect to the former. Quinnen Williams is a franchise-changing type of player and it goes without saying that we are very excited to see him play a game for the Cowboys. We still have to wait about a week to do so, though.

Williams’ debut will come next Monday night when the Cowboys visit the Raiders in Dallas’ first-ever regular season trip to Las Vegas. The last time they dealt away a first-round pick during the middle of a season was when they traded with the Raiders for Amari Cooper and incidentally his debut came on a
