The sixth season of the Kids Got Talent contest has raised $80,000 for the Children’s Safety Village of Belleville.
Held Nov. 9 at the Empire Theatre, it featured performances from people ages four through 17 in dance, instrumental and vocal music, and more.
“It was a night filled with pure joy, community spirit, and incredible talent,” safety village executive director Rachelle Baldock wrote in a news release. She said the total amount raised was “outstanding.
“Seeing these young performers shine while helping raise funds for children’s safety education reminds us all what community can achieve together. Every note sung, every dance step, every cheer from the audience helped make a difference.”
Organizers thanked all participants, families, volunteers, sponsors and guests.
