Burger King confirmed to PEOPLE that a special SpongeBob SquarePants menu will debut in December.

Rumors of the collaboration began circulating when the Instagram account Snackolator shared a photo of the alleged upcoming menu.

The special menu will arrive in run-up to the theatrical release of The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants.

Burger King is going underwater for its latest collaboration.

The fast food chain confirmed in an email to PEOPLE that a special SpongeBob SquarePants menu will debut on Dec. 2.

"Looks like word’s floated up from under the sea… we can confirm something fun (and square) is coming to Burger King on December 2," the representative said. No other details were disclosed about the upcoming collaboration.
