The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash Tuesday morning in the far northwest Las Vegas Valley.

In a post on X at about 9:15 a.m., police said that State Route 158 (Deer Creek Road), northbound at mile marker 7, was closed as a result of the crash.

The route connects Kyle Canyon and Lee Canyon roads, NHP advised, noting that SR158 would be closed for an “unknown amount of time” to allow for the investigation.
