Even before the New York Giants parted ways with head coach Brian Daboll on Monday, some wondered if North Carolina Tar Heels coach Bill Belichick would be interested in ending his coaching career with his former NFL employer.

At least one insider believes the legendary coach would welcome the opportunity to return to the organization.

"He'd walk from Chapel Hill to East Rutherford for this job," longtime Giants reporter and author Gary Myers recently said about Belichick possibly wanting to serve as the club's next head coach, per Armando Salguero of OutKick.
