DRESSER, Wis. — Minnesota and Wisconsin are still waiting for their first significant snowfall of the season... but that is not stopping ski resorts.

Trollhaugen opened the slopes on Monday, sharing videos on Facebook of skiiers and snowboarders cheering as they rode the lift and cruised the hills. Grass is visible in the background of the videos, but the slopes are coated in manufactured snow.

According to its website, Trollhaugen will be open every day this week. The ski area is located in Dresser, Wisconsin.

If you are looking for a ski resort closer to the Twin Cities, Wild Mountain opened Monday as well. Located in Taylors Falls, Wild Mountain offers skiing, snow tubing and more.

The resort will also be open every day this week, according to Facebook.
